Privacy Policy — Last updated August 23, 2026

Privacy

HomeInventory is designed to help you organize and locate household belongings while keeping your inventory information private.

HomeInventory does not require you to create an account and does not collect personal information for advertising, tracking, or analytics.

Information Stored on Your Device

Information you add to HomeInventory, such as locations, household items, quantities, notes, tags, and photos, is stored locally on your device.

HomeInventory does not operate a remote database that stores your household inventory.

Photo Access

HomeInventory allows you to select photos for use with locations and household items. The app accesses photos only when you choose to add or select a photo.

AI Item Identification

HomeInventory includes an optional feature that can identify household items appearing in a photo.

When you choose to use this feature, the selected image is transmitted to a Cloudflare Worker and Cloudflare Workers AI for processing. The image is used to generate item identification results and is not stored by HomeInventory in a remote database.

HomeInventory does not use submitted images to advertise to you or track you across apps or websites.

Third-Party Processing

The AI item-identification feature uses Cloudflare Workers and Workers AI to process submitted images. Cloudflare's handling of data is subject to its applicable privacy and data-processing policies.
